Srinagar Dec 22, KONS- National Conference president, Omar Abdullah today accused PDP of doing nothing in the last six years to develop Srinagar city because of what it called party's political vendetta and a malafide agenda to underscore the importance of Srinagar City.
Omar AbdullahOmar said the coalition government only gave bad roads, electronic meters, bulldozers, unemployment and worst civic amenities to the residents of Srinagar in the last six years.

He said National Conference believe that the Kashmir issue can be resolved through a process of sustainable all inclusive dialogue which includes India, Pakistan, main stream political parties, separatists, Hurriyat Conference, United Jehad Council and all others who have a direct or indirect stake in Kashmir issue. He said the new National Conference government will focus on the employment of the unemployed youth of the state and shall work to create new avenues of employment besides filling the existing vacant posts in the government departments.

Referring to the mis-utilization of the funds by the erstwhile PDP-Congress coalition government, Omar said they (PDP-Congress) have to answer as to where they have spent the Rs. 24000 crore package received from the Government of India for reviving the economy and providing basic amenities to the people of the state", he said they are accountable for each and every single penny mis-utilized by them.
