A large number of people besides Islamic organizations attended the conference. The conference was presided over by the Grand Mufti Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Bashir-ud-Din Ahmed Farouqi.
Those who shed light on the contribution of Amir Kabir(RA) in the valley include patron of the Bazam-i-Hamdania Moulana Khursheed Ahmed Kanoongo, Moulana Syed Mohammad Aslam Qadri, Moulana Showkat Hussain Keng, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Nehvi, Moulana Professor Syed Mohammad Tyab Kamili, Aga Syed Aijaz Hussain Rizvi, Professor Margoub Banhali,Qazi Mohammad Amin, Syed Abdul Majeed Indrabi and Moulana Syed Rehman Shamas.
The Conference was also attended by Dr. G.Q.Allaqaband, Dr. Ashiq Hussaain Naqashbandi, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Dr. Waseem Quershi and Mr. Ghulam Nabi Gowhar.
