SRINAGAR: MLA Langate Engineer Rashid has said comments by Mufti Muhammad Sayeed that BJP and PDP forming alliance is like meeting of north pole and south pole is mere cruel joke as Mufti or anybody cant change the universal fact that like poles repel and unlike poles attract.
Let Mufti Sb understand that North poles and south poles are two extremes and god forbids if they meet each other it will be an end of universe and is never possible. Mufti is trying to giving cover to the fact that PDP and BJP are similar poles and but it is like a very small stream joining a mudy river and culminating into its ultimate origin. Since BJP and PDP are unlike poles and when unlike poles attract, they never do it for positive things but just for collasions and create disaster
Engineer Rashid called the Common Minimum Programme of PDP- BJP as a complete surrender by PDP and termed the CMP of BJP and PDP as a document of farce.
Engineer Rashid stated – . Be it on all important issue of granting citizenship rights to West Pakistan Refugees or the revocation of AFSPA Mufti Sayeed and PDP have hands down surrendered to Saffron brigade and the Common Minimum Programme that has come to fore is a clear indication that PDP has compromised on everything for the sake of power. If they are eager to grant citizenship to PAK Refugees why on same parlance they are not in letter and spirit implementing the resettlement bill for those who were driven out of their homes in 1947 to Pakistan administered Kashmir. We would like to give a clear message to Mufti Sayeed and all that any unilateral step to grant citizenship rights to PAK refugees would be opposed tooth and nail by AIP.
Engineer Rashid further added that that Pakistan, Militants or Hurriyat do not need anybody including Mufti Sayeed. help for resumption of dialogue with India . In fact these dialogues have yielded nothing except diluting the basics of Kashmir disputed and strengthening New Delhis viewpoint
